Moldovan speaker has phone conversation with head of Chamber of Deputies of Romanian parliament

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu had a telephone conversation with President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament Ludovic Orban, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

Officials agreed on the development of interparliamentary relations in several areas.

Igor Grosu voiced confidence that during the mandate of the Parliament of the 11th legislature, the relations between the two fundamental institutions will reach the highest level of cooperation since independence.

"Romania has been and remains a supporter of democratic processes in the Republic of Moldova and has always come to the aid of our citizens in the most difficult times," said Igor Grosu.

During the discussion, Ludovic Orban assured Igor Grosu that Romania is ready to significantly boost Moldova's support with important projects, which will aim to raise the living standards of the citizens on the left bank of the Prut.
