Moldovan weightlifters ranked eighth at Olympics

Chisinau, 3 August /MOLDPRES/- The National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Republic of Moldova announced that both Moldovan weightlifters participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games ranked eighth.
Weightlifter Elena Câlcic said "I felt older injuries, and this prevented me from having a better result, especially in the snatched style. All in all, I'm glad I was here. These are my first Olympic Games and I thank God for this result ".
The Japanese Summer Olympics take place from July 23 to August 8. Our country's delegation consists of 47 members, including 20 athletes, 17 coaches and team leaders.
