Moldovan fine artist would have turned 65

Chisinau, 4 August /MOLDPRES/- Fine artist Tudor Cataraga, holder of the Star of Romania Order, in the rank of Commander would have turned 65 today.
He is the author of the monumental works installed in public forum: the sculpture of Mihai Eminescu, in bronze, from the square of the “Mihai Eminescu” National Theater (1992); the monument of Stephen the Great and of Mihai Eminescu from Nisporeni etc.
His works are present in several public collections in Chisinau, Iasi, Bacau, the Union of Visual Artists in Romania, the Romanian Parliament Hall, etc., as well as in private collections in the Republic of Moldova, Romania, China, Germany, Italy, Russia, USA.
He died in a car accident on December 27, 2010 and was buried in Chisinau.
