Moldovan speaker meets Hungarian envoy

Chisinau, 4 August /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu met with Ambassador of Hungary to Moldova Sándor Szabó today.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the discussions focused on bosting relations in economic, financial, humanitarian, educational and cultural fields between the two countries. The speaker thanked Hungary for support last year in combating the pandemic and equipping medical workers in the fight against Covid-19.
The sides agreed that partnerships in the banking, pharmaceutical and other fields must be expanded, and our country must take advantage of the opportunities currently open to it.
Also, a more active collaboration on the parliamentary dimension between the Republic of Moldova and Hungary was discussed. In this context, Sándor Szabó sent to the speaker the invitation addressed by Kövér László, President of the Hungarian National Assembly, to participate in the Parliamentary Forum for Security and Intelligence due this September in Budapest.
In conclusion, the diplomat wished Igor Grosu success in his role as speaker and in the complex realization of the legislative agenda, which requires accelerated and constructive efforts.
