Moldova, Cyprus to use potential of bilateral cooperation relations

Chisinau, 15 October/MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu today met Ambassador of Cyprus to Moldova, based in Bucharest, Petros Kestoras, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

Igor Grosu congratulated the diplomat on his accreditation in Moldova and wished him success in fulfilling his mandate.

The mutual interest for the full use of the potential of the collaboration relations at parliamentary level was expressed, as well as in the commercial-economic, investment, tourist, cultural and interpersonal fields.

In this context, it was noted that in the Republic of Cyprus there is an active Moldovan diaspora that can contribute to expanding relations of cooperation and friendship between our countries.

Petros Kestoras wished Igor Grosu and the entire body of deputies success in the work carried out for the benefit of the people of the Republic of Moldova.
