Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/- The number of people who were immunized with the first dose of vaccine has increased in Chisinau.
Acting head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health of the Chisinau city hall Boris Gâlcă said at today's meeting of the municipal services that the number of inhabitants who were immunized with the first dose of vaccine is increasing, but it is insufficient to create immunity en masse. "Statistical data show that we have exceeded the figure of 33 percent of the total population of Chisinau vaccinated. Lately, the number of those immunized with the first dose has increased. It is a gratifying thing, but the figure is insufficient for the creation of a mass immunity ", he said.
The official said there is a large flow of citizens who are immunized at the mobile vaccination points in Chisinau and asked the local authorities to continue this project.
Today, between 10:00 and 18:00, the two mobile vaccination points will be in the following locations: the trolleybus will be in the Rascani sector, bd. Moscow, adjacent to the "McDonalds" restaurant, and the bus will travel to the city of Cricova, 108 Chisinau Street, adjacent to the Health Center.
