ANTA found violations with fines of about 229 thousand lei

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/- Inspectors of the National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) organized on September 1 -October 15, monitoring and control actions on the routes connecting with the crossing points of the state border Leușeni, Sculeni, Costești, Cahul and Giurgiulești, during which they sanctions were imposed for violating the rules for the carriage of persons, goods and parcels by road. As a result, 101 reports on the contravention were drawn up, with fines totaling 4,563 u.c., amounting to 228,150 lei.
At the same time, for 33 drivers, the measure of suspension of the right to use the road vehicle was applied by withholding the plates with the registration number and the registration certificate, in accordance with the provisions of the Contravention Code. "Four drivers and a transport operator have also been sanctioned for using fraudulent equipment capable of altering the data of the recording equipment and / or speed limitation device, falsifying the record sheets or data downloaded from the tachograph, and / or on the driver's tachograph card ", indicates ANTA.
According to the institution, from the beginning of the year until October 15, for the illicit transport for a fee of persons, goods and parcels, the provision of services for a fee in the absence of registration in the Register of Road Transport Operators and / or admitting violations the Agency's inspectors drew up 3,726 reports on the contravention and imposed fines totaling 241,202 uc (12,060,100 lei).
"For 842 drivers, the measure of suspension of the right to use the road vehicle was applied by withholding the plates with the registration number and the registration certificate. At the same time, for violating the norms for road transport with weights and / or gauges exceeding the allowed limits, 696 minutes were drawn up regarding the axle load control, being calculated tolls for the use of roads in the amount of 42,385 euros ", ANTA said.
ANTA warns that the actions of monitoring and control of the road transport of goods, persons and parcels in international traffic will continue.
