Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with Czech parliamentary delegation

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan government’s current priorities on the dimension of the Transnistrian settlement were unveiled at a today’s meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Vlad Kulminski with a delegation of the committee for foreign affairs, defence and security of the Czech Senate, on a fact-collecting visit to Chisinau, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The deputy PM made a review of the governmental foremost goals in terms of the country’s reintegration. Kulminski noted that the Chisinau authorities continued making constant efforts, in order to fulfill the positive obligations towards the residents from the left bank of Dniester, solve the urgent problems they face, improve their living standards, by ensuring a sustainable social and economic development.
In the context, the deputy prime minister highlighted the Moldovan authorities’ support and full openness to further provide assistance in diverse aspects regarding the combating of the COVID-19 pandemic all over the country (organizing the process of residents’ immunization and allocating various humanitarian assistance), including in the settlements on the left bank of Dniester and in the perimeter of the Security Zone.
Thus, the deputy PM informed the Czech diplomats that the authorities had distributed to the residents from the Transnistrian region both vaccines against COVID-19, advanced medical equipment and their derivatives out of all consignments of humanitarian assistance provided to Moldova, as well as from procurements made from budgetary resources.
The diplomats thanked deputy prime minister for reintegration for the interactive dialogue. They reiterated the support by the Czech Republic for deepening the friendship relations between the two states and providing the needed assistance in different aspects of common interest.
