Stejăreni village, Straseni, has water due to AIPA support

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/- A construction project for water networks was recently completed in Stejăreni village, Lozova commune, Straseni district, with the support of the Agriculture Intervention and Payment Agency / AIPA /.

The total value of the investment was three million lei, and the length of the networks - 5.3 km. The beneficiaries of the water network are 566 locals, and so far a hundred households have been connected.

According to Diana Coșalîc, AIPA deputy head, it is an initiative of the local public administration, which ended with an investment that contributed to the development of the community for a decent living of the population. "We are glad that the investment made has paid off, and the inhabitants benefit from quality drinking water," the quoted source said.

"We helped with everything that was needed, with the support of the local council. There was no problem that was not solved. Moreover, the locals were also involved ", mayor of Lozova commune Lilian Botnaru said.

The inhabitants of Stejăreni village are provided with drinking water from a depth of over two hundred meters.
