As many as 2,870 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/- A number of 12,006 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 2,870 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 10 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 480,289 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 123 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (33 physicians, 57 medical assistants, 33 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,832 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 216 are in extremely serious condition and 42 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 21,935 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,771 are under supervision at home.

Another 5,050 people have been treated. As many as 428,987 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 27 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,893 people have died of coronavirus in all.
