Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) has made changes to the budget for 2022.
At a today’s CMC meeting, the councilors changed the indexes of the municipal budget for this year. The demand for amending the budget came on behalf of the head of the general finance department, Olesea Psenitchi. She said that the revenues were increasing by 63 million lei and the expensed had grown to 75 million lei. Thus, the negative balance of the city hall is of 12 million lei.
According to the official, the budget deficit of the city hall is due to already implemented projects, such as the project on energy optimization, for which the financing from the national budget is to appear. Psenitchi also said that special transfers from the state budget would come next, which will diminish this budget deficit.
