As many as 1,674 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 8,519 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,674 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Eight out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 484,516 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 77 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (21 physicians, 39medical assistants, 17 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,910 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 139 are in extremely serious condition and 20 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 19,792 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 18,272 are under supervision at home.

Another 3,905 people have been treated. As many as 437,569 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 16 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,940 people have died of coronavirus in all.
