As many as 1,047 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,041 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,047 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. One out of the new cases is import one. Thus, 485,563 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 19 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (4 physicians, 6 medical assistants, 9 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,939 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 135 are in extremely serious condition and 20 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 18,965 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 18,070 are under supervision at home.

Another 3,412 people have been treated. As many as 440,981 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 22 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,962 people have died of coronavirus in all.
