Moldovan parliament speaker has phone conversation with new speaker of Gagauz autonomy's People's Assembly

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu today had a phone conversation with the new speaker of the People’s Assembly (local parliament) of the Autonomous Territorial Unit (UTA) of Gagauzia, Dmitri Constantinov, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The parliament speaker wished Dmitri Constantinov success in his new position.
The officials agreed on the resumption of the discussions in the working group for ensuring, within the constitutional norms, the functionality of the autonomous territorial unit Gagauzia and of the legislative provisions of Moldova in relation with the special status of UTA Gagauzia.
”We need an open, pragmatic dialogue, in order to work out concrete projects for our citizens together,’’ Igor Grosu said.
