Moldovan president discussed with ambassadors of EU countries accredited to Chisinau

Chisinau, 14 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu had an online meeting today with ambassadors of the member countries of the European Union accredited to Chisinau, the presidential press service has reported.
The discussion focused in particular on the tense situation in the region, the possible developments in the crisis and the measures taken by the authorities to reduce the risks of possible military action in Ukraine. The head of state mentioned that the life and safety of the citizens are a priority, but also that the Republic of Moldova remains in solidarity with the neighboring country.
The discussion also addressed the current problems facing our country - the energy crisis and the pandemic, implicitly the situation in the economic sector and rising prices. President Maia Sandu stressed that one of the major concerns of the authorities is to find solutions to help people in need. At the same time, the head of state reaffirmed the determination of the government team to continue the reforms launched, especially in the economic and judicial fields.
