Second stage of electronic charging project implemented in trolleybuses in Chisinau

Chisinau, 15 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau Electric Transport Municipal Enterprise is implementing the second stage of the pilot project on electronic charging in public transport in the capital.

The institution announced that it has installed the first stationary validators in the trolleybuses running on route No30, Center - Airport. Each transport unit is equipped with two validators, one at the middle entrance and one at the rear.

Passengers will pay for the trip with the card, and payment will be made by touching the validator bank card.

The validators do not issue a travel ticket, the proof of payment comes via SMS or on the bank's mobile application.

Chisinau Urban Bus Park also announced that it will install test validators in three buses running on Route 37 in the capital.
