National immunization rate in Moldova - 31%

Chisinau, 15 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- The national coverage with a dose of COVID vaccine is about 31%, and with a full scheme - over 29%. The figures were released today by the Ministry of Health.
The number of vaccinated people decreased by about 3% compared to the fifth week. Thus, a total of 35,931 people were immunized between February 7 and 13, 2022. Another 213,069 people went to vaccination centers for booster dose administration.
The highest vaccination rate with the complete scheme is registered in Chisinau - 45% and Soroca - 33%, and the lowest vaccination coverage is attested in ATU Gagauzia - 18%, Sangerei and Leova - 20%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Republic of Moldova has received 2,823,364 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination against the new coronavirus is free and recommended by all health institutions nationally and internationally, and is an effective way to stop the spread of the virus.
