Reconstruction of Bender – Căușeni – Cimișlia road segment completed

Chisinau, 16 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Repair works of the asphalt concrete pavement over 11 km on the R26 Bender – Causeni – Cimișlia road, km 71.7-83.3 have been completed.

The works commission, composed of representatives of the State Road Administration, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Technical Supervisory Agency, the design company and the contractor, established that the works are carried out "in accordance with the execution plan and specifications ”.

The project included the repair of two bridges, the relocation of the communication and gas network, the relocation of the external aqueduct and sewerage networks, street lighting works, the arrangement of the bridges, the metal parapet and the road marking. Construction work was also carried out on a car park, cycle tracks and bus stations.

The repair of this road segment is a continuation of the works previously executed on the national route R26, Causeni-Cimișlia sector, and in the coming years the road will be fully rehabilitated.

The repair works of the completed segment of over 11 km of the R26 road have a value of over 167 million lei, money allocated from the Road Fund.
