Moldovan deputy PM meets United Nations Development Programme Resident Representative

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian today met Resident Representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Moldova Dima Al-Khatib. The official congratulated Oleg Serebrian on his appointment to this important position, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The officials discussed the projects implemented by UNDP all over Moldova and, in particular, the ones on the promotion of the confidence building measures, sustainable regional development and removing the disparities between the two banks of Dniester. Serebrian expressed thanks for the valuable assistance provided and which contribute to the backing of the settlement process.
Also, the sides exchanged opinions and ideas on perspectives of deepening the cooperation, ensuring the present partnerships and their strengthening, in order to achieve the goals with major impact and of mutual interest.
