Moldovan Communists, Socialists inform to create permanent political bloc

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Party of Communists (PCRM) and the Party of Socialists (PSRM) will set up a joint permanent political bloc. PCRM leader Vladimir Voronin and the PSRM executive secretary, Vlad Batrincea, made statements to this effect at a news conference today.

The two politicians noted that the decision had been taken at a recent joint meeting of the PCRM and PSRM executive bureau.

„We have finished the documents dealing with the creation of the Political Bloc of Communists and Socialists. We have been working together as a faction in parliament for several months already. This cooperation is a positive one, we have no divergences. What motivated us and obliges us to set up a political bloc is the situation in the country,’’ Voronin said..

The Socialists and Communists have 32 MP mandates in the current parliament.
