Fifty stops repaired in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - Fifty public transport stops have been repaired in the Chisinau municipality in the last two months.

The public transport and communication ways general department has informed that, in December 2021 and January 2022, 50 municipal public transport stops had been repaired. The works cost about 4 million lei, - money allocated from the municipal budget last year.

In 2022, another 50 stops are scheduled to be repaired and arranged, and another four million lei are to be allocated from the municipal budget to this end. The tender on the procurements of the works is to be accounted soon.

There are 952 public transport stops in the Chisinau city in all, of which 619 in the capital and 333 in the suburbs. Three hundred out of these stops are managed by a private economic agent.
