Worn-out vehicle spare parts to be able to be imported to Moldova

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - The worn-out vehicle spare parts will be able to be imported to Moldova. The parliament today approved a draft on the amendment of the Customs Code in the first reading.    

Under the draft, the legal regulation of the import of car spare parts will eliminate the contraband, will ensure a fair competition and, at the same time, will give a new source of revenues to the state budget, through the collection of financial means from imposing customs duties.  

For the second reading, the lawmakers are to submit amendments, through which the risks dealing with the environment, traffic security are to be excluded and will concretely formulate the types of spare parts.
