Interactive map to provide information about roads under repair in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - The state enterprise, State Administration of Roads (ASD), has published an interactive map of the road segments and public bridges under repair, as well as the segments under rehabilitation or which are subjected to repair, so that this information is accessible to all citizens.

The map contains data about the category, state of roads, cost of the project, the beginning and the ending of works. ‘’The map also contains a search engine, where one can see the road segments depending on the kilometrical position and the geographical coordinates,’’ ASD said.  

According to the quoted source, the segments of the roads which have the red colour mean that works are still carried out on them and the segments with the green colour are made available for movement. The data presented on the interactive map will contribute to the planning of the works necessary to be carried out on the national roads, will enhance the transparency and will contribute to the analysis of the road traffic safety, in order to avoid accident situations.     

The map is worked out in accordance with the programme on the distribution of the financial means of the road fund for the national public roads for 2022, as well as with data provided from the contracts on repair of the national public roads from foreign investments.
