Moldovan writer prepares book of essays about poets, poetry

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - Poet, translator, publicist, literary critic and editor Tudor Palladi prepares for printing a book of essays, titled, Metafora între cuvânt și drama (Metaphor between word and drama) about more writers from Moldova, beginning with Alexei Marinat till present.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Tudor Palladi said the first volume of this series had appeared in 2012 and comprised 214 pages, the second – in 2017 (416 pages) and the third one – in 2020 (496 pages).

Tudor Palladi was born in the Balanesti village, central Nisporeni district, on 6 June 1946. He studied at the Philology faculty of the Moldovan State University (USM) and graduated it in 1969. As of 1974, he was editor at the Cartea Moldovenească publishing house.
