Moldovan-Romanian agreement on reducing roaming charges approved by government

Chisinau, Feb. 23 / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau ministers today approved the agreement between the Moldovan government and the Romanian government on reducing the tariffs for providing international roaming and international calling services between the two states.

The document was signed in Chisinau on February 11, 2022, during the joint Moldovan-Romanian meeting.

Thus, from March 1, citizens traveling to Romania for personal or business purposes will benefit for the first time from roaming services at national rates.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology shall take appropriate measures to implement the provisions of the said Agreement.
