Moldovan fine artist says 2021 year marked by more exhibitions

Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/ - The 2021 year was marked by more national exhibition of the colleagues of the head of the Fine Artists’ Union of Moldova (UAP), Dumitru Bolboceanu.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Dumitru Bolboceanu said that about 30 exhibitions had been staged at the Constantin Brancusi exhibition centre in 2021.
According to Bolboceanu, 2021 was a difficult year, but a year when fine artists made more works. ‘’This was a year with good and bad things. The situation created by the pandemic made out colleagues work in workshops, making more valuable works,’’ the fine artist noted.
Dumitru Bolboceanu was born in the Colicauti village, northern Briceni district, on 8 July 1960. In 1979, he finished the I. Repin republican School of Arts and in 1986 – the Chisinau-based Ion Creanga State Pedagogical Institute. In 1993, Dumitru Bolboceanu became member of UAP. Presently, he is head of the Fine Artists’ Union of Moldova.
Dumitru Bolboceanu participated in more exhibitions in Moldova and abroad. His works are preserved in the permanent collection of the National Art Museum of Moldova, collection of the Constantin Brancusi Gallery, UAP’s collection, as well in private collections from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, USA and other countries.
