Moldovan authorities create official Telegram channel - First Source

Chisinau, 24 February /MOLDPRES/ - The government informs the residents and mass media about the creation of a new information source on Telegram, Prima Sursă (First Source), which is a national channel of verifying information. The channel is managed by decision-makers of the Presidency, parliament and government.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, on the channel, we will quickly inform about the most important decisions of Moldova’s authorities and will deny the falsehoods and manipulations appeared in the virtual space, especially now, in the context of the serious worsening of the security situation in Ukraine.

The false informing and the propaganda are dangerous instruments for the society, regretfully, widely used at present. Therefore, we call on your vigilance and ask you NOT to promote non-confirmed and dubious stories/information.
