Queues at state border crossing points with Ukraine

Chisinau, Feb. 25 / MOLDPRES /- Four crossings of the state border are crowded at this time, on the direction of entry into the Republic of Moldova. At Criva - Mamaliga customs there are over 100 means of transport, Giurgiulești-Reni there are about 20 cars; Palanca - Maiaki-Udobnoe, the line is about 8 km long, Tudora - Starokazacie, the line is about 2 km long.

According to the Ministry of Interior, in the last 12 hours, 19,645 crossings were registered at the state border crossing, out of which a number of 12,694 crossings on the direction of entry into the Republic of Moldova. Of the total number of crossings of the state border - 14,567 were crossings of foreign nationals, mainly of Ukrainian citizens - 9,777 crossings.

Likewise, according to Provision No. 1 of February 24, 2022, Ukrainian citizens will be able to enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova, including with internal identity documents and without the obligation to present the COVID-19 certificate.

Cars will be able to enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova without a green card, provided it is purchased within 24 hours.
