FC Sheriff Tiraspol leaves Europa League

Chisinau, Feb. 25 / MOLDPRES /- FC Sheriff Tiraspol was eliminated from the Europa League last night.
The champion of the Republic of Moldova in football, FC Sheriff Tiraspol lost, 3-2, in front of FC Braga, Portugal, following the tiebreaks and was eliminated from the Europa League.
The match played at the municipal stadium in Braga was dominated by the Portuguese footballers, who kept the score of 2-0 even after extra time.
In the first match played at the Tiraspol stadium, the Moldovan footballers won 2-0. At equal score, 2-2, a tie was executed.
Goalkeeper Giorgos Athanasiadis defended twice, but the misses of Dulanto, Bruno and Radjelic tipped the scales in favor of the Portuguese.
