Moldovan foreign minister meets representatives of diplomatic staff in Chisinau

Chisinau, Feb. 25 / MOLDPRES /- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration spoke at the Foreign Ministry with representatives of the diplomatic staff accredited in Chisinau, the MAEIE press service has reported.

The Moldovan official said that we are witnessing a serious regional situation, Russia's military attacks in Ukraine are a flagrant violation of the rules of international law.

"The Republic of Moldova is a neutral state, and we are committed to respecting international norms and we condemn this act of war," said Popescu.

At the same time, the head of diplomacy in Chisinau called for support in the effort to receive and accommodate the flow of refugees on the territory of our country.
