Causeni city hall called on inhabitants to help Ukrainian refugees

Chisinau, Feb. 25 / MOLDPRES /- Causeni city hall has issued an appeal on its official website, urging locals to help refugees coming in large numbers from Ukraine to our country, as the Palanca border crossing is in close proximity to Causeni.
"Dear Causeni residents, given the large flow of refugees from Ukraine who need accommodation, Causeni City Hall call on all those who can provide housing for refugees to go to the mayor's office," the institution writes.

Yesterday, on the first day of the Russian invasion of the neighboring state, several Ukrainian refugees turned to the local administration in Causeni, which has found solutions for the time being, but it also needs the support of the population.
The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova last night decided to establish a state of emergency throughout the country, for a period of 60 days, starting with February 24, 2022. The document stipulates that during the state of emergency, the Commission for Emergency are binding and enforceable for the heads of the central and local public administration authorities, of the economic agents, of the public institutions, as well as for the citizens and other persons located on the territory of Moldova.
