Queues maintained at Moldova's points of crossing border with Ukraine

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan authorities have informed that, today afternoon, an enhanced flow of passengers and transport means was maintained at the border crossing points Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe and Tudora-Starokazacie.  

According to data by the Border Police, at both crossing points, agglomeration is recorded at the entrance into Moldova. The following statistics were recorded since early morning till the noon: Palanca – 799 crossings of people, of whom 781 at the entrance into Moldova; Tudora – 890 crossings of people, of whom 879 at the entrance into Moldova.  

According to the quoted source, at this point, the traffic values grow at the border crossing point Sculeni-Sculeni, at the exit from Moldova. About 45vehicles are present at the control line.  

The flow of passengers in the first half of the day was of 6,201 crossings, most of which are crossings by Ukrainian citizens – 2,993.
