Increased flow of passengers recorded at several border crossing points

Chisinau, March 4 / MOLDPRES /- Border Police announced that today there is an increased flow of passengers at the Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe, Tudora-Starokazacie, Basarabeasca-Serpniovo and Giurgiulesti-Reni border crossings.
In the last 12 hours, the border police registered 29,398 person crossings, out of which a number of 15,877 on the way out of the country. Most of the crossings were by foreign nationals - 24,460.
The most requested border was with Romania - 18,514 of the total crossings, and 10,868 crossings were reported at the crossing points located on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.
With regard to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 17,570 crossings were recorded, of which 9,541 on the way into the Republic of Moldova and another 8,029 crossings on leaving the country. At the same time, a number of 5,857 were the transfers of Ukrainian minors up to and including 14 years of age.
