First stage of construction of Balti Innovation Center completed

Chisinau, March 4 / MOLDPRES /- The first stage of the construction-assembly works of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer in the North Development Region has been completed. They were carried out in a project funded by the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR).

The management of the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) and specialists of the institution checked yesterday the quality of the construction-assembly works executed, in the context of organizing the reception procedure at the end of the works within the first stage of the project. Together with the contractor who carried out the works, the parties inspected the completed spaces in the first stage of the project to create the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer. These are the ground floor, part of the basement, the fifth floor and the facade of the two buildings of the Center. The received spaces were also connected to electricity, water and sewerage networks, internet and other telecommunication networks.

The economic operator who carried out the work in the first stage of the project shall take into account all the comments documented by the members of the reception committee.

The headquarters of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer, with an area of 6,054 square meters, is located on the territory of the State University "Alecu Russo" in Balti. The center is to be managed by a management structure established on the basis of an operating regulation. The value of the works executed in the first stage of the project is 10.13 million lei, from FNDR sources.

The works carried out during the second stage of the project are to be received in the near future. Afterwards, the final reception will be held.

ADR North started implementing the project Creation in Bălți municipality of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer in the North Development Region in July 2020. The total value of the project, which includes both stages, is 24.96 million lei, allocated from FNDR sources.
