Moldovan, European officials approached important issues

Chisinau, March 4 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu had a telephone conversation with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, and addressed the latest security developments in the region, the presidential press service has reported.
The officials also discussed the efforts of the Chisinau authorities to protect and provide assistance to refugees in Ukraine. In this context, the head of state mentioned that the Republic of Moldova relies on the immediate assistance of the European Union in managing the flow of people crossing the border of our country.
