Large shortage of bedding in refugee placement centers in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, March 7 / MOLDPRES /- Refugee placement centers in the capital need 15,000 sets of bed linen, 11,000 blankets and 12,000 pillows.
The head of the General Directorate of Economy, Trade and Tourism of the Chisinau Municipal Council, Roman Vitiuc, said at today's online meeting of the municipal services that the local authorities together with HoReCa representatives provide hot food three times a day in seven centers. In other centers, cold food is provided.
Vitiuc stated that the main need of the placement centers is for bed linen, requiring 15 thousand sets of bed linen, 11 thousand blankets and 12 thousand pillows.
The official specified that the request had been submitted to the international refugee protection institutions and that a response was awaited.
