Moldovan president visits two refugee shelters

Chisinau, March 7 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu has recently visited the refugee shelters set up at the Institute of Educational Sciences and the Athletics Management in the capital, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state spoke to several young and old women who, together with their children and grandchildren, arrived in our country fleeing the war. "We have assured them that we will continue to be with them and other refugees who will cross our border to save their lives. People are very grateful to our citizens for their understanding and goodwill ", said Maia Sandu.
The president also spoke with volunteers who help refugees and without whom this effort would be impossible. "I truly thank all our citizens who, in these difficult and uncertain days, show solidarity, generosity and generosity. No one should ever find themselves in the shoes of these people hit by the misfortune of war ", the message reads.
The head of state urges citizens to remain united, calm and vigilant.
