As many as 352 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,834 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 352 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 505,996 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 14 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 9 medical assistants, 3 auxiliary staff employees) ).

As many as 642 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 60 are in extremely serious condition and 2 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 4,930 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 8,693 are under supervision at home.

Another 660 people have been treated. As many as 485,303 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 5 death triggered by COVID-19 and 11,298 people have died of coronavirus in all.
