About 20,000 people crossed state border in past 12 hours

Chisinau, March 9 / MOLDPRES /- In the last 12 hours, the border police registered 19,136 crossings, of which a larger number - 10,241 on the way out of the country. Most of the crossings were by foreign nationals - 14,550.

According to the Border Police, today all border crossing points register minimum traffic values. In Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe there are 40 pedestrians on the Ukrainian side.

According to the quoted source, the most requested border was with Romania - 14,083 of the total crossings, and 5,044 crossings were signaled at the crossing points located at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

With regard to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 10,288 crossings was recorded, of which 4,588 on the way into the Republic of Moldova and another 5,640 crossings on leaving the country. At the same time, the number of 2,873 was the crossing of Ukrainian minors up to and including 14 years of age.
