Over 60,000 people crossed border in past 12 hours

Chisinau, March 10 / MOLDPRES /- In the last 12 hours, the border police registered 16,818 crossings, of which a larger number - 11,825 on their way out of the country. Most of the crossings were of foreign nationals - 11,900.

According to the Border Police, today all border crossing points have minimum traffic values.

The most requested border was with Romania - 14,647 of the total crossings, and 2,027 crossings were at the crossing points located at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

With regard to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 7,085 crossings were recorded, of which 1,710 on the way into the Republic of Moldova and another 5,375 crossings on leaving the country. At the same time, a total of 1,892 were the transfers of Ukrainian minors up to and including 14 years of age.
