New member of Integrity Council appointed today

Chisinau, March 10 / MOLDPRES /- Ion Botnarenco was appointed today by the Legislature as a member of the Integrity Council for a term of five years.
Ion Botnarenco has a degree in law and economics. He currently works as a lawyer and is studying for PhD at the University of European Studies in Moldova.
According to the legislation on the National Integrity Authority, the Integrity Council consists of seven members - one representative appointed by Parliament, the Government, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Superior Council of Prosecutors, the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova and two representatives of civil society.
