Moldovan president talked to students, teachers in Nisporeni about problems in education system

Chisinau, March 11 / MOLDPRES /- On Thursday, President Maia Sandu visited vocational school in Nisporeni, an institution where 314 students study. Discussions between the head of state, students and teachers were about problems in the education system, the presidential press service has reported.
"I asked young people what they think about the reform of technical vocational education. I am glad to hear that the transformations that we initiated a few years ago have started to produce results, but the process must be accelerated in order to keep up with the needs of the labor market ", Maia Sandu said.
The President noted that the refugees in Ukraine are very grateful to our citizens for their understanding and kindness. "I know for sure: the solidarity and unity of our people makes us stronger and will help us overcome all difficulties," the head of state said.
