German diplomacy head to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs Minister of Germany Annalena Baerbock will pay a visit to Moldova on 12 March.
According to the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), the German diplomacy head’s agenda includes meetings with her Moldovan counterpart Nicu Popescu, President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita. Also, foreign affairs ministers Nicu Popescu and Annalena Baerbock will visit the selection centre for refugees from Moldexpo.
The discussions of the officials of the two states will be focused, as a priority, on subjects of regional security, triggered by the war in Ukraine, management by the Moldovan authorities of the flow of refugees, need to mobilize the foreign assistance in the wake of the humanitarian crisis, as well as Moldova’s European integration agenda.
