About 14,000 patients called for ambulance last week

Chisinau, March 15 / MOLDPRES /- Over the past week, emergency medical teams have provided first aid to 13,932 people.

According to the data of the National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance / CNAMUP /, the medical assistance teams intervened in 2416 patients with respiratory problems, 2004 people with neurological pathologies and 1052 with traumas.

During the same period, the Emergency Service received 56 calls for toxic emergencies, including 27 carbon monoxide poisonings, 14 drug poisonings and six alcohol poisonings.

At the same time, the ambulance doctors intervened in 47 people, including five children, who suffered as a result of the road accidents produced on the country's routes.
