Vaccination rate against COVID-19 reached 31%

Chisinau, March 15 / MOLDPRES /- The number of vaccinated people has decreased by more than 27% compared to the previous week, and the national immunization rate exceeds 31%. The data were presented today by the Ministry of Health.

On March 7-13, 15,870 people were vaccinated, less by about 27% compared to the ninth week. At the same time, another 273,550 people went to the vaccination centers to administer the booster dose.

Thus, the national coverage with a dose, in the general population, constitutes over 31%, and with complete scheme - over 30%.

The Republic of Moldova received a total of 2,923,860 doses of vaccine. Vaccination against COVID-19 is free and recommended by all national and international health institutions.
