Moldovans to be able to travel to Brazil without visas

Chisinau, March 15 / MOLDPRES /- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration announced today the entry into force, on March 13, 2022, of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the abolition of short-stay visas for holders of ordinary passports.

Moldovan citizens who hold a valid passport are exempt from visas to enter, leave, transit and stay temporarily in the territory of Brazil, for tourist, transit or business purposes, for a period of up to 90 days. 6 months from the date of first entry.

At the same time, according to the agreement, if Moldovan citizens wish to remain in the territory of Brazil for more than 90 days or to carry out paid activities, as well as to provide technical assistance, missionary, religious or artistic activities, they will have to to obtain a visa.
