Deputy head of Service for Preventing and Combating Money Laundering resigned

Chisinau, March 16 / MOLDPRES /- The mandate of Evghenii Sîrbu, deputy head of the Service for Preventing and Combating Money Laundering was terminated based on the resignation request.

The decision was announced today at the beginning of the Cabinet meeting.

Also at the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița asked the relevant structures for more transparency in the process of distributing the aid received by our country recently. "I asked the Ministry of Finance to inform the citizens how the money from the Donation Fund is distributed and I asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Chancellery to make a report on the assistance coming to the Republic of Moldova and how it is distributed," the prime minister said.
