Government approved agreement between Moldova, Italy on recognition of study documents

Chisinau, March 16 / MOLDPRES /- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Italian Republic on recognition of study documents, signed on February 23, 2022 was approved today by the Executive in Chisinau. Thus, according to the final clauses of the treaty, it will be able to enter into force, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

That agreement is based on the principle of reciprocity and will help to strengthen bilateral collaborative relations in the field of education and the academic recognition of studies. Specifically, it will ensure the recognition and equivalence of study documents, obtained in higher education, starting with level 6 of the UNESCO-ISCED 2011 classification (License) and continuing with the second cycle of the Master.

We remind you that the agreement in question was signed in Chisinau by the Minister of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, Anatolie Topala, and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, Benedetto Della Vedova. It will enter into force immediately after informing the Italian side of the approval in the Government.
