Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration meets Romania's Ambassador

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian today received Romania’s Ambassador Daniel Ionita on a farewell visit, on the occasion of the end of his mandate in Moldova, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The deputy PM appreciated especially the work of the ambassador on a period of ascendant development of the bilateral dialogue at all levels, of the sectoral cooperation in numerous sectors and carrying out concrete cooperation projects between Moldova and Romania, materialized including in multiple initiatives of assistance for citizens on both banks of Dniester and of backing Moldova’s European path.
The agenda of discussions also comprised the recent developments in the Chisinau-Tiraspol dialogue, challenges faced by Moldova in the context of the security developments in the region, the authorities’ effort to manage these processes, as well as the big flow of refugees who came from Ukraine.
The officials offered mutual thanks for the good cooperation relations maintained and deepened, the forms of multidimensional assistance developed, the contribution to strengthening the bilateral partnerships.
