Moldovan government's representative at European Court of Human Rights dismissed from office

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - The government’s representative at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), Oleg Rotari, today was dismissed from office, based on the application submitted.
Oleg Rotari was appointed to this position in 2017. He has earlier worked as jurist detached to ECHR. During June 2008-November 2009, Rotari held the office of consultant at the governmental agent directorate of the Justice Ministry.
The governmental agent represents Moldova at the European Court of Human Rights. At the same time, he is competent as regards the ensuring of the enforcement of its decisions in the causes against Moldova, asks for the interpretation, revision and rectification of the ECHR rulings, undertakes measures for preventing the infringements of the European Convention.
